Hello, I am having what looks like a margining issue with Xenporta. I am using the style Flexile dark standalone.

What is happening:

Notice how the subheader is blocky, not aligned, same with the bottom. And the date is just kind of floating anywhere.

What I'd like:

This is the same style "Flexile" however this is the light version. Everything seems to line up great.
Is there something I am missing?

I don't know if u found out already how to fix it but i saw your reply via google, and to fix this you just need to enable:

Enable support for 8wayRun addons

under Flexiles Styles Properties

I am running XenPorta 1.4.4 and in the file RecentThreads.xml there is a phrase hardwired in the file: Recently Active Threads

I have made a small change in my installation to add the phrase in the language db, but I think this fix should be added to the main line.

Any progress on this?

stupid beginner question but....So I want to create the slide show. Now about this "slide.jpg" that I have to create and attach to whichever thread I want to appear. Now do I just pick any pic and rename it or how/where or what do I use for this "slide.jpg file"???

Ok, I uninstalled the old version of Portal per the instructions. I am running xf 1.1.0 and trying to install the latest Portal but I am getting the blank portal screen. Not sure what I am doing wrong, but have searched all 181 pages of this thread. Can someone assist me?

Just uninstalled and reinstalled - same result. I don't think I missed anything in the instructions.

Ok, just purchased and uploaded xenforo to my server this afternoon. I've finished my fresh install and I'm now trying to add the XenPorta add-on. I unzipped and placed XenPorta in the /xenforo root directory. Then, where it says 'Install from file on server:' I put this: library/EWRporta/addon_EWRporta.xml
And that gives me this:

Error
Please enter a valid file name. The requested file could not be read.
What am I doing wrong here? I'm pretty sure I'm following the directions properly. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Hey thanks for the response! I appreciate it. Unfortunately, I've tried everything in the how-to you linked to and nothing seems to work. I downloaded the zip file. I unzipped the files. I then uploaded the xenporta folder via FTP to my /xenforo root directory. I then followed the instructions and went into the 'install add-ons' in my admin panel and then put in what I said above. And I continue to get an error.

Let me ask this, would having a CMS like wordpress running on the main url affect it installing? This seems simple enough but I'm totally new to xenforo. Thanks again.
