[8wayRun.Com] XenPorta (Portal)

Quick question and I am sure someone with some knowledge of this portal can answer it just as fast as I post this.

I have the following addons installed :

Affiliates - Leafnet Blog - TaigaChat - Movie Posters - XenMedio - Reputation System - Board Notices - ragtek Contact Thread - [I also have some misc addons, such as the PSN id, Steam ID etc.]

If I install XenPorta, will I have to uninstall then reinstall these?

You dont have to uninstall and reinstall them.

I have 3 custom modules. My first one was installed 6 weeks ago from a XML file on my desktop. I can see the XML file for this addon in the XML folder.

The other two custom modules I have were installed a week ago. I followed the same process, uploading the XML file from my desktop, but I don't see these xml files in the XML folder nor the XML_Addons folder. Why?

Should I export the XML then upload it to the XML folder?

For each user created XenPorta module, should there be a XML file which appears in the XML folder? Is a XML file created on the web server during the import process?

If so, I am wondering why only 1 of the custom modules I am using has a XML file located on the server.

The module doesn't create XML files and place it in the XML folder. The XML folder is ONLY used during installation to feed updates to and install the default modules.
 
Since upgrading the upcommign evenst module has stopped working, just doesnt show.

I have also updated the events addon.... :S
Edit: A lot of modules now don't work, media cloud, board totals...you add them and they dont appear. I have tried uninstalling the addon and reinstalling it, but still no luck...any ideas?
Cant even re-arrange them or move them :S

Did you un-install ALL custom modules before upgrading to the latest XenPorta? Jaxel stated that this is a MUST before upgrading. That may be your issue

I upgraded just this morning. you can do the same thing to 8wayrun right now...

current version was posted yesterday afternoon

Where does it not show? On your portal? Or on the modules page?

Press the "Customize this Page" link and click Revert All. You probably customized the page and disabled them.

It doesn't show on the portal, have tried reverting all. I drag EventsUpcoming to any location and set the date etc but it doesnt show on the portal when applied.
it was working before the update :S
