So is XenPorta working with 1.1.0 smoothly and all that?

Ide like to upgrade to 1.1.0 but only if the portal will still work ok.
 
Why is there no option to "Administrate Modules"?!?! The page is blank for people that don't have that permission, and I want a global layout!
 
I still honestly don't know what your question is?? Your screenshot is from the security page. Not the Layout section. The admin or user can customize the layout. The admin can allow anything to be customized or only certain modules. There is other security settings within the module/block There is a good guide for Layouts (see below) or much discussed on page 183 of this thread or 159 or other spots.

Yea I figured it out, I think I was used to the way you administrate the modules from the previous versions.
 
There is a bug with the Globalized Custom Layouts "Forum (forum-# > forum)" option.

Enabling this will cause the RSS feed for the forum to malfunction.

I'm finally using this add-on and I think it's more convenient than using wordpress as my CMS.

I still have wordpress installed though as my forum is in .com/forum directory.

I'll have to research how to move my forum into the root directory.

That shouldn't be very difficult. :)

How can I move my installation to a different directory?
Update the Board URL in the ACP -> Options -> Basic Board Information and move the files to the new directory. You may need to restart the server for the change to take effect.

My site was originally vBulletin CMS. It had okay SEO. I then installed and integrated with Wordpress. SEO only went up a little. I then moved to Xenforo, SEO went up a lot. My 8th Legion wordpress is useless. My posts only have a couple views. My site's SEO is thanks to the forum, especially now that I've converted over to Xenforo.

So basically, Xenforo's built-in SEO for threads is all that's really needed for SEO. By using Xenforo, using threads as articles is more convenient than using a wordpress bridge because the SEO is already taken care of for the 'article', so is extra features like sharing buttons and comment integration since it's already a thread anyway.

Styling is way easier to deal with due to the modules and the simple fact that you can create your own basic themes without any training at all. The main page can be one style and the forum can be another thanks to that option in Xenporta. I'll give you an example. BlackGamer uses Arras wordpress theme. There is already an Arras Xenforo theme. When I upgrade Xenporta on Black Gamer I will use the Arras xenforo theme and style it to look like the current Arras wordpress mainpage even though the modules will be different.

And since I'm getting rid of wordpress, I won't need MyArcadePlugin anymore as I can just embed Black Gamer Arcade games as pages in xenforo. That will take a lot of work but it's worth it. I wish I had done all of this in the beginning but I was really hard-headed and wanted to stick it out with Wordpress since I paid for Xenscript's excellent wordpress bridge.

Once I figure out how to embed html in posts then I'll do the switch but I still can't get that Parse HTML xenforo add-on working.
 
Man it's ridiculous how much money I've spent to finally find something I like and can agree with.
 
One question, to update to 1.5, it says to delete all tables xenporta, but it will delete all data made ​​before the update ?!
