I can watch the video fine in the popup.
If I click on (click here to watch and comment) though, this URL tries to load http://media/ufc-125-open-workout-video.33/

There seems to be a problem with the relative path.
youre a machine Brogan lol.

I recently updated to v1.20 and I did move my forum 2 days ago from the root to /community. I do have videos in my media section that are linked correctly. Those are the videos that are older then yesterday.

http://mmazone.com.au/community/forums/media.31/ if you want to see the media section.

Does it make sense that moving the forums could of done this or is it more likely a bug due to the update?

If it's the older videos which are not playing, before moving your site to /community, then it's probably due to hard coded relative URLs.

I don't know how this add-on works but there could be a table in the DB which needs those records updating.
Failing that, you could try re-uploading the videos?

Having said that, I just checked the oldest video in that section and I get a 404 to a different URL: http://mmazone.com.au/media/find-your-rhythm-with-ufc-125.11/

It looks to me like all of the media paths aren't correct.

I suspect Jaxel will know exactly how to fix it when he logs back in.

Ahhh oops I should of checked that sorry but youre right that video points to when the domain was at the root. So obviously changing the board URL doesnt update these settings. I guess ill have to wait for Jaxel to reply.

Thanks mate youve been very helpful once again.

Out of interest, if you add a new video now, is the URL correct?
Nope, first thing I tried. The last 7-8 videos are from after the move to /community and they all dont work. Tried a couple of times when I realised the issue as well and yep they still had the wrong URL.

If this is a general problem with the add-on then I would have expected it to have been reported by now.

It's possible that it's unique to your installation but I'm only speculating as I don't have it installed so can't do any testing.

Jaxel should be able to clear it up.

I thought the same thing. The only exception being maybe something was changed in the big update to 1.2.

1.2 was released only a couple of days ago so I dont think many people would have moved their forum that COULD be why.

But yeah Jaxel should clear it up. Thanks for helping

When you import a youtube link
Have you setup all the options in the adminCP first before trying to import a video?

Hi Jaxel,

I uploaded a video then had to change the category, this wasnt reflected in the media post that was generated(I think youve mentioned this).

Wanted to know if you plan to implement the ability for the thread details to be updated as the media details are changed.. IE category etc etc. Also it would be nice if comments updated also.

Cheers

Yeah thats not a problem. Just wondering if Jaxel had any plans to implement these features for the future.
Threads are threads... thats just the way it is...

Although... I think I could make it a BBcode instead, so that its automatic.

Ahh ok fair enough.

That would be VERY cool. Please let us know if you decide to go that way :)
