5 posts per page

Hi guys, my forum is currently set up with 10 posts per page. But I would like to switch to 5 posts per page, for two reasons: to increase the number of page views and to keep the forum "cleaner" and with the news (mine is a sports forum, with sports news) well in evidence .

Do any of you have this configuration? What are the possible problems?

Not me, I wouldn't even have as few as 10 per page.

The problems may be that your users won't like it it.

Having more page views is counter productive if it annoys your users. I can't think why you would want more page views anyway. The page is part of a posts URL, so it may cause problems for any links to posts (need to check that) .

I also don't see why it keeps the forum cleaner or news in evidence

What are the possible problems?

Thread links will be different if they are moved to a different page number. So you will have many 404 errors. I guess
