XF 2.1 2 Factor Authentication Problem

I just got a new phone and now Authy says I don't have any accounts. I need to recreate my account but I don't know how to access the required QR code for my XenForo account? Any help would be appreciated.

Use a backup code to regain access to the account and then disable and re-enable 2FA.

If you don't have a backup code, edit the config.php file to temporarily disable 2FA: https://xenforo.com/xf2-docs/manual/config/#site-wide-feature-disable

Thanks. I was able to login with a backup verification code but I don't know how to disable 2FA. I'm assuming this can be done on the Admin side but I can't find where to do this. I found this page http://vmug.bc.ca/vmugforum/admin.php?two-step/ but there doesn't appear to be a place to turn 2FA off. Where can I find this?

All I see are the following:


No option for backup codes.

First you have to have it enabled.... and it seems you don't (ergo the green Enable button).
Once you do have it enabled, you will see similar to this (I use DigitalPoints Security & Passkeys add-on for YubiKey use).

No problem. They are simply a list of codes that you can use if you lose your device or cannot access it.
