How do I add a little symbol before each thread so you can goto the last unread post in the thread ?

How do I add a little symbol before each thread so you can goto the last unread post in the thread ?

I don't know about last unread post, but I think for first unread you just click on the title. If it's bold their are unread posts and the link goes to the first one.
I'm puzzled why would you go to the last unread one not the first unread?
