1k+ prefix error

I have a few thousand of prefixes on my site and when I try to apply all the prefixes to a node from the control panel/forum/nodes/Available prefixes I am getting the error above. It only allows ticking around 1k prefixes. Is there a limit here?

Most likely max_input_vars PHP config value which is 1000 by default.

On a side note, what is the UX like when posting a thread and searching for a prefix to apply ...

Yes, it's just a PHP variable.

If you don't have access, ask your host.

Hi, I increased the max_input_vars to 5000 as suggested, but the issue with applying large amount of prefixes to a node persists. It still limits me to selecting up to 1k prefixes, but I need around 2k. Any thoughts on what to do next?
