1.4's Thread Moderation, how does it work?

I'm aware of the how post moderation works, you see the contents of the post, the user name, the time when it was posted, etc.. but for thread moderation are we allowed to edit the prefix and forum section from the moderation queue itself?

Is it possible for screenshots and/or clarification with regards to this?

Not from the mod queue, no.

It can be done from the thread list or thread view.

I see, time to post a suggestion // I already am using an addon that has the same behaviour and it can be really tedious when you have dozens of new threads posted, for instance you would have to click on each link to figure out if it was posted in the appropriate section, etc..
