What's the deal with DATA_FORUM in XenForo_DataWriter_DiscussionMessage_Post and XenForo_DataWriter_Discussion_Thread

Do i need to set these data manual?

I've checked the code and it's included in 1.1 in all instances, where the datawriter is used (delete,edit,create,..)

I've tried my add-ons without and it's working.
So do we need this?

Wouldn't it be better, if the DW would be responsible for this?
If we edit a thread, we have the node_id so the data can be grabbed
if we edit a post, we can also get the node_id and the data can be grabbed.
