1.1.3 upgrade leaves "out of memory" fatal error - can't access admin

I've nicely tuned my Xenforo site over the last few weeks in preparation for go live, and today upgraded to 1.1.3.

I haven't had a single hitch up until now, but after upgrading (apparently successfully), I'm no longer able to access admin.php.

The Board itself works great, without a hitch, and I can even navigate around the admin area from a window which I'd left open prior to the upgrade. It's just the admin.php which I'm unable to reach.

Here's the error message:

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 14155776) (tried to allocate 24692 bytes) in /homepages/blahblahblah/htdocs/xenforo/library/Zend/Db/Statement/Mysqli.php on line 276

Can anyone please help? I was just about ready to go live, as well! :(

I'd really appreciate anyone's time. Thank you.

1&1 is a very professional hosting company with very high technical knowledge, so their shared packages are very secure, but also very limited.
At 1&1 you get what you pay and not a single byte more.

If you hit a limit, all you can do is upgrade the package. It makes sense to contact them and ask for help.

In terms of security, Sadik? Customer service or tech help? I've had a few run-ins with them in the past (usually over the latter) but they've usually put themselves straight.

Basically in terms of service. Their service is very limited as you are finding out.

I used to host with 1&1 and moved away because of limits like this. Also speaking to their tech support was like banging nails into my eyes - not a pleasant experience. Even if some limitation on their package is ridiculous and stops a major package working (like Xenforo) they never want to know or change things. I remember years ago when they had a funny version of MySQL and every vBulletin forum hosted on 1&1 used to have whole threads go missing - it took over a year for them to fix. Never 1&1 again!

Not all shared hosting is like 1&1 if you shop around. My current shared hosting has 128Mb limit for example.

I've resolved it by uninstalling the Xensocialize add-on. I"m not at all sure that this was the problem, so I'll reinstall it at a later date and tip the developer off that there may be a problem.

Thanks all for your help - Xenforo has a really great community. Definitely a major plus point for this noob.
