A tab could be viewed, edited or deleted through the URL of a different thread, including tabs of threads the visitor could not view
Link tabs accepted unsafe links such as “javascript:”: only http(s) and relative links are accepted now, and existing unsafe links are cleared on upgrade
Attachments of a tab were left orphaned when the tab or its thread was deleted
Tabs were lost when a thread was merged into another one without a redirect: they are now moved to the target thread
Uninstalling the add-on left a column in the thread table
Reordering tabs with an invalid id raised an error
Modifications:
The tab bar now uses real links instead of clickable boxes (middle click, keyboard navigation and accessibility)
Tab pages now have their own page title and meta description instead of repeating the thread’s
Restricted tabs show a “secret user” icon to the people who manage tabs
New features:
Link tabs: choose for each tab whether the link opens in a new window or in the same window (existing link tabs keep opening in a new window)
Search: the content of tabs is now indexed and appears in search results, only for people who can view both the thread and the tab (rebuild the search index after the upgrade to include existing tabs)
SEO: new option “Tab pages in search engines” (point to the thread by default, index on their own URL, or noindex), plus Article structured data on tab pages
Per-tab visibility: everyone, logged-in members only, or selected user groups (the thread starter and users able to manage tabs always see all tabs)
ErrorException: Fatal Error: Access level to SV\ThreadReplyBanner\XF\Entity\Thread::_postDelete() must be public (as in class XFA\ThreadTabs\XF\Entity\Thread)
