XenFocus​

Editorial, content-first style for XenForo 2.3+. Free download.
Most forum styles are built around the interface - sidebars, panels, gradients. XenFocus flips that. The content column is wide, typography is calibrated for long reads, and every visual decision is made in service of readability.
The reference points are editorial platforms like Medium and Substack - spaces where reading long-form content feels natural, not fatiguing.

Focus Reading - Thread View Redesigned​

• Original Post as a Card - The OP sits in a rounded card bubble. Author avatar, name, and metadata in a horizontal bar at the top. Content takes the full width below.
• Reply Bubbles - Each reply is a self-contained bubble. The top-left corner is intentionally sharp, giving a subtle speech-bubble feel. Timestamp and post number sit top-right.
• Hover-to-Reveal Action Bar - Like, Quote, and Reply fade in on hover. While reading, the buttons disappear. No repetitive button rows interrupting long threads.
• Q&A Thread Layout - Question-type threads get a dedicated layout. The OP is labeled and separated from the answer stream. Vote column integrated into each answer card.

Forum List​

• Inline thread creation - Start a thread from the forum list without navigating away.
• Filter tabs - Latest / Popular / Newest with a clean underline tab strip, no dropdowns.
• Post Thread button - Always visible to the right of the forum title on desktop.

Dark & Light Mode - Both First-Class​

• Dark mode - Deep surfaces, high-contrast text, borders defined by subtle opacity shifts.
• Light mode - White cards on a light gray page. Clean, familiar, print-like.
• Toggle is always visible - sun/moon icon in the top navigation bar.

Color System - Adapts to Your Brand​

XenFocus uses XenForo's native style properties for every visible color. There are no hardcoded hex values.

• Change the Link Color in Style Properties - the entire accent system updates automatically (buttons, active states, Post Thread button, tab indicators).
• Works with any brand color - muted, saturated, warm, cool.
• No CSS knowledge required to rebrand.

Typography​

• Inter - Clean, readable, designed for screens. Used for all UI text.
• Noto Sans Arabic - Loaded alongside Inter automatically. Arabic users get a matching font with no extra configuration.
• Line height and spacing calibrated for comfortable long-form reading.

Mobile​

• Floating Action Button - A plus button in the bottom corner on mobile. Tapping it opens the thread creation page directly.
• Single-column layout - Content expands to fill the full viewport width.
• Touch-optimized - Tap targets, spacing, and font sizes tuned for phone use.

RTL - Arabic-Ready Out of the Box​

The entire style is built with CSS logical properties throughout. Switch your forum to an RTL language and the layout mirrors correctly - no extra CSS needed.

XenVibe Core Addon Included​
