since the released v1.23.1, covering only what remains in
v1.30.0. No release between these.
Profile URLs
- /@slug now follows the custom profile slug, rather than the actual forum username.
- Added the optional /{slug}/ canonical format, allowing addresses such as /talmyric/.
- Added root-format pagination support.
- Preserved previous slug and username aliases.
- Added collision protection for registered routes, route filters, and physical forum files/directories.
- Conflicting root addresses safely fall back to /members/{slug}/.
- Updated URL previews and help text to reflect these formats.
Account details and confirmation
- Moved profile address editing below Username in Account details.
- Removed the separate editor’s account-dropdown and sidebar shortcuts.
- Old editor links redirect to Account details.
- Kept an editable address textbox and live availability feedback on Account details.
- Added a Change button that carries the typed address into a confirmation overlay.
- The proposed address is read-only in the overlay, with no duplicate availability check.
- Organized the overlay into sections for the proposed/current address, confirmation notes, editing allowance, and request tools.
- Retained normal Account details saving and the overlay’s Save address / Submit request action.
- Added rollback protection for account-details address-save failures.
Availability feedback
- Automatic checks while typing and when leaving the field.
- Green success badge with a checkmark.
- Red unavailable badge with a warning icon and explanatory reason.
- Neutral checking spinner and failure message.
- Clearer “Profile address is available” wording.
- Protection against outdated responses replacing newer results.
- Removed the manual Check address button and unnecessary reserved spacing.
- Added accessible status announcements and reduced-motion support.
- Corrected stylesheet loading so theme colors compile properly.
Request history and tools
- Redesigned request history with responsive cards and colored status badges.

- Styled cancellation, history, and automatic-reset actions as matching buttons.
Style properties
- Added a Profile Vanity URLs style-property group with 32 controls.
- Controls cover availability colors, request cards/statuses, spacing, padding, corner radii, and typography.
- Added overlay-specific colors, notice background, panel spacing, and proposed-address text size.
- Defaults follow XenForo’s theme colors and support color variations.
- Removed fixed mobile size overrides that would defeat custom settings.
Staff request dashboard
- Consolidated the account sidebar into one Profile address requests entry.
- Removed the duplicate sidebar shortcut to the native approval queue.
- Added an option to hide the dashboard’s sidebar link without disabling authorized access.
- Redesigned requests as cards with status badges and current/requested address comparisons.
- Added a clearer filter heading and separate batch-decision section.
- Batch controls appear only when pending requests are listed.
- Retained XenForo’s native approval-queue integration.
Existing edit limits, cooldowns, approval rules, permissions, and stored profile data remain in place.
