This update further enhances the Post Macros add-on by allowing the macros selector to appear on any editor instance on the entirety of your site.

Don't worry - this is optional, and you also have the ability to exclude specific view classes if you wish.

You can view an example of this new feature by going to the add resource page on XF Liam - both fields have a fully working macro selector (if you have some macros defined).

This is a complete rewrite, with a different table structure & add-on ID.

This must be installed as a new add-on - an update will not work!

I recommend the old add-on is disabled prior to installing this update.

You should update your permissions for the new version once installed - they're now separated into two interface groups.

Once installed, you may be able to import your user & admin macros from the old version (depending on the version you had installed) - go to Tools->Import External Data and select the Post Macros entry.

The process for importing is straightforward - just click the relevant buttons.

Once the macros have been confirmed as imported (or you've manually migrated them), the old version can be removed.
