My team is very happy with this function. Saves a lot of time and makes moderating topics a lot easier.
The notification does not work. Maybe this needs to be updated?

Unfortunately it's not a useful plugin. The move to trash button is in a tough place.
Also, the notification you sent when posting the topic in the trash forum does not work.

Does exactly what you want it do, my moderators and I love this. Easy as can be to use, just 2-3 clicks and it's in the trash
