Displays a history of previously viewed threads.

As you browse different threads, how many times have you struggled to get back to a recently viewed thread? The History add-on makes it really easy to located previously viewed threads. Your members will love this add-on.

  • Members can view their recently viewed threads.
  • Admin feature allows staff to 'View all' members history.
  • All phrases start with history_ for your convenience.
User group permissions:

View - Normally the Registered user group is set to Yes.
View all - Normally the Moderating and Administrative user groups are set to Yes.

  1. Download Andy-History-1.9.zip and unzip it.
  2. Copy the src/addons/Andy/History directory to your server.
  3. From the Admin Control Panel Install the add-on.
Database creation:

This add-on will create a table called xf_andy_history in your database.

Questions and Answers:

Q: Can I change to another computer and still see the most recent threads viewed?
A: Yes.

Q: How long are last viewed threads history retained?
A: 30 days.

This is one of the most useful addon I've ever had on my forum. My users are now able to come back quickly to a thread they've seen a minute ago or some time ago without using the back button. This one should be in the XF core.
