Password protect forums and thread contents.

Features:
  • Allows single or multiple forums to be password protected.
  • Password only has to be entered once.
  • Password saved in a cookie.
  • Threads in password protected forum also require password if direct URL is used.
  • All phrases start with forumpassword_ for your convenience.
Installation:
  1. Download forumpassword_v1.3.zip and unzip it.
  2. Upload the Andy folder to your server. The correct location will be library/Andy.
  3. From your Admin Control Panel, go to the "Install Add-on" page.
  4. Upload the addon-ForumPassword_v1.3.xml file.
  5. Click the Install Add-on button.
Questions and Answers:

Q: Member complains they have to enter password for every session.
A: Tell member not to clear cookies.​
