Eggy Pool: Expansion Hub 1.0.5

No permission to download
Eggy Pool Expansion Hub 1.0.5 is now available.

This update introduces the new Challenges system, giving players additional goals to complete alongside the existing Pool progression features.

Challenges can be configured as Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Repeatable or Countdown challenges, with progress tracked automatically through Pool and AI gameplay. Challenges can reward Pool Coins and display live progress and remaining time where applicable.

The Hub navigation has also been updated, with Trophies now moved into the new Progress section alongside Challenges.

Administrators can manage Challenges directly from the ACP, including creating new challenges and editing the pre-made challenges included with the add-on. Challenge names, descriptions, target goals, duration/type and rewards can all be configured.

Progress and the new challenge interface use AJAX navigation to keep the Hub experience fast and integrated.

The Expansion Hub remains fully mobile friendly, including support for landscape layouts on phones and smaller displays.
Emergency fix for ball rolling behaviour in Expansion Hub, with smoother 3D rotation and improved stripe and number badge motion so ball patterns roll naturally without deformation or excessive spinning.

Also includes mobile aiming adjustments for better cue rotation and shot positioning in landscape mode, especially near table edges.

Eggy Pool Expansion Hub 1.0.4 introduces the new Tournaments system alongside a major cleanup of the Pool Hall navigation and Hub presentation.

Players can now access the new Tournament Centre to browse open tournaments, view live events and completed tournaments, create new tournaments and take part in tournament brackets.

The Hub navigation has also been reorganised and cleaned up so Tournaments, Clubs, Leaderboards, My Stats, Trophies and Cue Shop are presented in a much neater and more consistent layout.

Desktop and landscape layouts have been refined throughout, including responsive tournament statistics, improved button sizing and better alignment across the Pool Hall and Tournament Centre.

Eggy Pool Expansion Hub 1.0.2 is now available, bringing a substantial expansion of the player-facing systems available alongside Eggy Pool.

While 1.0.1 focused primarily on the existing Expansion Hub foundation and progression features, version 1.0.2 introduces several completely new systems designed to give players more to collect, spend, customise and participate in outside of individual matches.

Pool Clubs

Pool Clubs are now part of Expansion Hub.

This introduces a dedicated social layer around Eggy Pool, giving the Pool Hall another area for players to become involved with beyond simply joining individual matches.

The Clubs system has been designed as part of the wider Expansion Hub platform so it can continue developing alongside future Pool features.

New Cue Shop

Version 1.0.2 introduces a full Cue Shop where players can browse and purchase additional cues using their Pool Coins.

Cues are no longer simply a static visual choice. Players can build their own collection and choose which owned cue they want to take into matches.

The Cue Shop includes:
  • Purchasable cues
  • Owned cue tracking
  • Equipped cue state
  • Automatic equipping when a new cue is purchased
  • Immediate shop state updates
  • Integration with the player's Pool Coin balance
  • Different cue appearances and visual identities

Purchasing a cue is handled without forcing the player back to the top of the page, allowing the shop to feel much more like a proper interactive part of Pool rather than a traditional page submission.

Once a cue has been successfully purchased, it is automatically equipped and ready to use.

Pool Coins

Pool Coins now have a much more important role within Expansion Hub.

Players can earn Pool Coins through eligible Pool activity and spend those coins on supported Expansion Hub content such as cues.

A new earning guide clearly explains the available reward routes directly to the player.

Current Pool Coin earning opportunities include:
  • Completing eligible multiplayer matches
  • Winning multiplayer matches
  • Completing eligible AI matches
  • Additional bonuses for defeating higher AI difficulty levels
  • Eligible achievement rewards where configured

Different AI difficulties can provide different bonus values, giving players another reason to progress beyond the easier opponents.

Incomplete, abandoned or forfeited matches do not qualify for normal completion rewards.

Live Cue Visual Effects

Custom cues now retain much more of their visual identity once the player enters an actual match.

Previously, a cue could look distinctive within the Cue Shop while appearing considerably more basic when rendered on the table.

Version 1.0.2 carries configured cue presentation into live gameplay so cues with effects such as glow, energy or similar visual styling remain recognisable while being used.

These effects are scaled for the gameplay environment rather than simply reproducing an oversized shop preview around the cue.

This allows premium and visually distinctive cues to actually feel different when they are being played with, rather than only while browsing the shop.

A More Connected Progression System

The goal of these additions is to make Expansion Hub feel increasingly connected.

Pool Coins can be earned through gameplay, those coins can be spent on cues, purchased cues can immediately be equipped, and those cues then appear during actual matches.

Alongside the existing achievements and progression systems, Expansion Hub is gradually becoming the layer that connects Pool gameplay with collection, rewards, customisation and social features.

Version 1.0.2 now brings together:
  • Trophies & Achievements
  • Trophy Points
  • Achievement progression
  • Pool Clubs
  • Pool Coins
  • Cue Shop
  • Cue ownership
  • Cue equipping
  • Live cue visual effects
  • Multiplayer reward progression
  • AI reward progression

Available Now

Eggy Pool Expansion Hub 1.0.2 is available now for existing customers.

As Expansion Hub continues to grow, further systems can be introduced through the same platform without unnecessarily increasing the size and complexity of the core Eggy Pool add-on.

Version 1.0.1 is now available for Eggy Pool: Expansion Hub, bringing a major new competitive and statistical layer to the game.

The biggest addition in this release is the new Leaderboards & Statistics system, designed to give players a much clearer view of their own performance while also making it easy to compare records with the wider Pool community.

Players now have access to a full personal statistics area covering their Pool career, including wins, losses, win percentage, games played, potting records, streaks, human and AI performance, and other tracked gameplay records.

Public player statistics have also been added, allowing members to view the Pool records of other players directly from the leaderboard and compare progress, form and competitive performance.

The new leaderboard system includes rankings for areas such as:
  • Games played
  • Games won
  • Win percentage
  • Human wins
  • AI wins
  • Current and longest win streaks
  • Balls potted
  • 8-balls potted
  • Winning 8-balls
  • Unique human opponents defeated
  • Consecutive pot records
  • Successful breaks
  • Foul-free wins
  • AI difficulty wins
  • Trophy Points
Human and AI records are tracked separately where appropriate, including individual AI difficulty statistics for Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert opponents.

Players can also view head-to-head records against opponents they have faced, along with personal game history and current form.

The leaderboard interface has been redesigned to make navigating between ranking categories much quicker. Leaderboard categories and pages now update dynamically without requiring a full page refresh, while the selected ranking remains reflected in the browser URL for easier navigation and sharing.

The Pool Hall has also been updated with direct access to:
  • Trophies
  • Leaderboards
  • My Statistics
Alongside the new functionality, this release includes a number of UI, responsive-layout, navigation and integration improvements across Expansion Hub.

Version 1.0.1 is cumulative, so existing Expansion Hub customers can upgrade directly from their current version without installing any intermediate 1.0.1 builds first.
