    Registration check [Deleted]

So Registration Check 1.3 is replaced by Country Registration Check 1.1? If so, How to I handle upgrading? Will Country Registration Check install as an upgrade to Registration Check, or do I have to remove Registration Check, install Country Registration Check, then redo the settings? Not a...

    One-Click Upgrade - Awesome

Just wanted to thank the team for the one-click upgrade feature. I have been running a forum (from vB to xF) for almost 20 years, and that was BY FAR the easiest forum software upgrade I have ever done. I hope I'm not breaking a rule here by creating a post that does not have a problem...

XF 2.0 Custom User Fields & User Title Ladder

(NOTE: I am now on 2.1) It appears that last year when I imported my vB Forum to xF 2.0, the importer inserted whatever the current (at the time) vB User Title of each member into the 'Custom User Title' field in the xF 2.0 database. This was fine, but because it entered these titles as custom...

XF 2.1 Custom User Fields - Member viewable?

OK, I got it. I had to move the fields form "Preferences" to "Personal Details" and now the info is there. Not sure how they started out where they were or how they got there, but they're in the proper place now. Thanks Mike!

XF 2.1 Custom User Fields - Member viewable?

Now this is weird. Some members have some of the info showing? Now I'm really lost in space

XF 2.1 Custom User Fields - Member viewable?

Maybe my info is in the wrong place. MyXF forum was imported from vB, so maybe that has something to do with it. Here's my Profile "About" on my own forum. The only info showing is LOCATION. However, if I look at the custom user fields that I want to appear in that area, none of them are...

XF 2.1 Custom User Fields - Member viewable?

I do have "Viewable on profile pages" checked. However, when I go to a profile page it's not there. The page shows 3 items, "Latest Activity", "Postings", and "About". I assume this info would be in the "About" section, but it's not there. Is there something else I have to do to get this in there?

XF 2.1 Custom User Fields - Member viewable?

I want the membership to be able to see the info in each members custom user fields when they view a members profile, but I can't seem to figure out how to get that info into the Profile area of each member. I did a search here, found this thread...

    XF 2.1 Question about Tables

I had a need for tables in my forum prior to upgrading to XF 2.1, so I used an add-on called [KL] Editor Manager 1.0.2 I cloned my live forum to my laptop using an MAMP environment, then upgraded it to Version 2.1 as a test. The upgrade went fine. I figured that I no longer needed the [KL]...

XF 2.0 Custom User Fields & User Title Ladder

Thanks Mike. That is a great explanation and what probably happened. I'll create a thread asking members who are "stuck" in that mode to let me know and I'll delete that user titles.

XF 2.0 Custom User Fields & User Title Ladder

OK, I've been digging around the Admin area and the User Manual, and it appears that new members are getting their User Title filled in by default as 'NEW MEMBER', which causes the ladder not to work because, according to the user manual, if there is a custom user title in that data field, the...

XF 2.0 Custom User Fields & User Title Ladder

I upgraded my vB4 forum to XF2 last year, and everything seems to be fine. However, a member pointed out to me that there was info in the old forum about each user that he could not fine in the new forum software. I checked the XF Admin area and I see all of the fields imported from the vB user...
