XF 2.1 Question about Tables

I had a need for tables in my forum prior to upgrading to XF 2.1, so I used an add-on called [KL] Editor Manager 1.0.2

I cloned my live forum to my laptop using an MAMP environment, then upgraded it to Version 2.1 as a test. The upgrade went fine. I figured that I no longer needed the [KL] Editor Manager 1.0.2, so I disabled it, then tried the Tables in native XF 2.1.

They appear to work exactly the same. Is this correct?

I searched the User Manual for Version 2.x with the search string 'Tables' but nothing appeared, so is there some documentation on this feature?

XF2 does include native table bb code support, yes.

If the bb code is the same as used for the add-on, then it should be fine.
