Just wanted to update and close this one. Since this posting, no other spammers have managed to bypass the new field. Will just write that one off as an anomaly inherent in the programming of the Matrix. Brad

I am enjoying my new XFMG, and would like to change one thing... the thumbnail of the album. Seems I would have to do this at the database level. Does anyone know where in the database these are stored? Here is the url for one example...

Thanks, it has been working good since my last post. Still don't know what happened, maybe the settings didn't save properly the first time. The forum is working great so far, and I think I am finally over most of the growing pains. Brad

Ok, I fixed the "Something Went Wrong" problem. Wish I knew how, but am just glad things are working now. All I really did was enable every single option possible for all user groups, then go back and put the exactly haw they were when things were not working. Oddly though, it remained broken...

Coming from VB4, I seem to have old habbits getting in the way of understanding my new XF2 forum! I have tried everything from enabling all options to do with attachments and images, to removing them all. None of my users (including myself) can figure out how to just link an image so it appears...

I am accepting users manually, requiring them to fill out one extra custom field I added that forces a little bit of human (non spammer) dialog. What is very odd is that some users from the typical spammer nations seem to know how to get around this! Here you can see that the field is required...

Ok, I fixed it. It was in phrases. Put the link back as well. Proud to run this forum software, so thanks for pointing out the fact that I had no link in the XF copyright. Brad

Not sure what I did now! Went into app_footer.less and did the revert. I was sure that was where I added my own extra copyright. I am trying to put the original XF message back, but will just add my own as a second line this time. At this point, I have no footer message, not mine or the XF...

Odd, I went and hit "revert" on that template, and now there is no footer message at all! I was trying to put the phrase back in with the link, just to be a good forum owner. Now I need to dig for the problem.

I knew it was against the terms to remove the copyright, and I would not want to, as I like my forum and its creators! Modify it slightly though? If that's the case, then I guess I am just plain bad. I prefer the way it reads now. - Forum Powered by Xenforo. Brad

Perfect thanks! My register page is now normal like all of the other pages. https://atomiczombie.com/forum/ I guess this would work for any page that is an overlay. Might need that trick again. I like consistency on everything. Brad
