I had a member come to me today saying he was getting an insufficient permissions message when trying to start a new thread in a Node but he is able to post in a sibling Node even though both Nodes inherit permissions from the same parent. When I use the Analyze Permissions tool, it indicates...
Thanks! I'm not inclined to use that add-on given the beta status and the performance warnings coupled with the size of my board (12M messages in 600K discussions).
Here's an example: http://www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?threads/whats-still-up-with-the-weird-poll-choices.1596092

The biggest pushback is probably because we took the opportunity to rid ourselves of Tapatalk. We had a number of issues where the app would work around some of our add-ons and cause admin...
Thanks! The site owners were very nervous about scaring off the old-time members who'd become used to that style after 15 years on vB. The guy who created the skin did a nice job of keeping it comfortably familiar while providing support for XF's newer functions.
My board just went live on XF this morning after nearly 15 years on vBulletin. :)
After a few initial issues, the biggest current irritation is that the posts aren't appearing in the expected order (last post, descending). Is there something wonky in my forum config or is there another issue...
