Youtube videos display over Overlay Popups...

So if there is a youtube video in a post, and then I click on the edit link on the post... the youtube video displays over the overlay trigger and then I can't edit the post without some additional steps.

How can I fix this?

Try setting a z-index for the inline video:

You can edit the embed HTML for the media site to use inline styling. Or use EXTRA.css.

Flash doesn't adhere to z-index.

But I noticed this issue doesn't happen here on xenforo.com... why not?

Same thing happens with my Soundcloud integration. I haven't found a solution yet.

How is the code being embeded? Is it the embed flash code or iframe? If it's flash embed code you can use wmode. Or if it's the iframe you add ?wmode=opaque to the end of the URL.

Yea, this is the right thing to do. I had to do this same thing a few weeks ago.
