I was checking my YouTube subscriptions today and it struck me that YouTube's new "Author Bubble" is very similar in design to Xenforo member postbit. In fact its so similar that I'm wondering if the designer of the "Author bubble" has been "inspired" by Xenforo's member postbit.

What do you guys think?

It's not like XenForo was the first place to ever use that sort of design anywhere on the internet before...

Is that so ... ? Could you please tell me where it was used before? Because I personally recall seeing this first on Xenforo. I may be mistaken in this of course.

It's unlikely that anyone can point out anywhere that used it before because it's a very common technique/design pattern.

I've seen it used for at least 10-15 years, though it wasn't done the same method that Kier decided to use.

    XenForo didn't invent speech bubbles...

I've seen this prior to Xenforo in CSS blog designs. Plenty of speech bubble use wrapping user avatars and data in blog designs.
