You sure we're in a recession?

That really doesn't mean anything... the value of the dollar is so low that $6.8 billion is less than $1 billion from 20 years ago.
My thoughts exactly. The dollar has lost most of it's value in the past couple of years and interest rates are rock-bottom. If unemployment is higher, productivity is lower, but we are still spending a lot, people are simply borrowing themselves into prosperity. The game won't last much longer.

The major problem with this country right now is that socialism is on the rise. Obama-care is an absolute disaster and I'll explain to you why...

Why are American companies posting record breaking profits, but our unemployment is higher than ever as well? Well its due in large part because of socialism. A company can higher an American for $8 an hour; or they can higher offshore for $4 an hour. Sure, a lot of companies stand by some intangible wall of "morals" and don't do it. But the problem is, the cost of an American worker is rising because of socialism.

With the advent of things like Obama-care, employers are being forced to shell out to pay for their worker's medical benefits. So now the cost of that same worker is not $8, but more like $10. So because the gap of wages between domestic and foreign employees rises, companies are finding it a lot harder to justify sticking to their "morals".

I can't facepalm this drivel enough.

By the way, Jaxel, before you respond let me say that this is as far as I'm going on the subject. I have a feeling it would get somewhat heated. I don't want to sully this board with that kind of stuff. You come to my board and we'll discuss to our heart's content. But man oh man do I think you are wrong.
