Not sure if this has been requested, but is there any plan to add an alert preference where users could receive an alert if another user comments on a blog entry they themselves also commented on? Exactly like the one for profile posts - "Also comments on a profile post - Someone comments on a profile post that you have commented on".

So it would be "User commented on User's entry" or something.

I'm currently using a very old version of your addon, the free one, and was looking into the paid version but noticed this particular preference doesn't seem to exist. It's one thing a few of my blogging members would like to see, since they often miss other replies on blog entries they've commented on.

I do not believe that has yet been suggested. To make tracking suggestions easier, I recommend posting here, the official suggestions forum.
 
hi there, I just purchased this product but the sales flow seems a bit messed up.
I was brought to mypaypal account and verified the payment source. Then it brought me to your site to register and I verified my registration. Nothing happened after that.I went to your store and it said I had no products in the store. When I tried to buy it again, there are now 2 items in the cart and I can't seem to change the quantity, let alone find out why my previous purchase didn't go through on your end. Can you help?

I am just about to update my v1.0.0 and have just downloaded v1.1 BETA 2...should I install this or is a next release imminent?...thanks

Last week was hectic so there was a minor delay but 'soon' is still relavent. While you can upgrade to Beta 2 now, it's probably close enough to just hold off until Beta 3.
 
How can I make the latest blog posts appear in the navigation of my forum like in the previous version? Also, when can we expect the beta 3? There is a bug where long usernames make some of the text appear outside of the box in the main category.

I went through the whole process again (purchase steps are definitely unique and confusing). I successfully uploaded the add-on and am trying to create a test post but it keeps telling me that i must select a category, which I checked in the setup, except there is no category to choose form. I seem to be missing something...:confused: Then I unchecked that 'category' box in the set up and now it's asking me to use a valid title. (?)

Also the 'Invalid Title' has to do with the Blog Title. If there is no existing blog you need to name one and it'll create it when creating the Entry.

Categories have to be created in the ACP. If there are no categories, that box should not have shown up as an option at all (that's the intended behavior; if not, it's a bug). I do touch on categories a bit here, but you'll probably see a minor change to it in Beta 3 if I can get to it before tomorrow/Friday.

As Forsaken mentioned, he's currently putting it through its paces now. We're being more methodical this time around so we can prevent a number of regressions that occurred between Beta 1 and Beta 2 (a bug with Core was finally fixed which caused some of them).


So yes, in general things are happening and I haven't abandoned anything. :)
