XF 2.2 XFRM Resource Manager Change Download button position, text and colors

I'm struggling to change the XRFM Download button phrase, Searching XRFM phrases there is only one with 'Download' in the text (xrfm_downloads) but it does not control the phrase I would like to change. Ideas?


I would also like to change only this button text and background color but not affect all the buttons on a global scale. Is this possible? Maybe in extra.less?

I have tried to move the button in the xrfm_resource_view template as shown but I continue to fail. Can I get some guidance?

Got it sorted, created a custom phrase and found the template I needed to edit is 'xfrm_resource_wrapper_macros'

Edit template xfrm_resource_wrapper_macros and change icon="download">{{ phrase('download') }}</xf:button> to icon="download">{{ phrase('xrfm_custom_download') }}</xf:button>.

Nice, that looks like the direction I was trying to get to.

I’ve been working on this from a slightly different angle as well. Rather than relying on manual template edits or keeping the styling directly in extra.less, I’ve started turning the Resource Manager action button customization into a small XFRM add-on.

It’s working locally now as an alpha candidate. I’m still testing it before putting anything out publicly, but the goal is to make this kind of Resource Manager button customization easier to manage from the ACP instead of having everyone piece it together manually.

I still want to look more carefully at the actual button placement side of things, but the visibility/styling side is already well underway.
