Yes, apologies should've checked back. Appears to have been a caching issue on my end and trophies started showing. However navtab link is missing on mobile. Does it show for you?
 
Navtab are limited in mobile view, use the 3 lines icon and you'll see the MOTM link.

Bug correction:
- Error on album creation when Create Thread option set and no forum node selected
- Trophies get awarded even when condition not met since MOTM trophy condition was implemented
- MOTM navigation tab not selected when clicked, Media tab selected instead
- Hearth icon not visible anymore in media list on MG 1.1.0

Ok then that was the issue.

With the latest version installed you should have it awarded.
With previous version, any MOTM going over next month wouldn't be awarded.

Great updates but I think I found a bug possibly with the bd widget. MOTM is installed in default location all. When I add another bd widget block and set to all (unrelated to this) the MOTM widget disappears on forum_view but still shows up in other views.... Any ideas?

This is very odd, and the block is set to all even after that ?

Have you tried editing then re-enabling the motm block ?

Yes both blocks set to all (one block was rotating ads js slider) the other was your widget. Your widget doesn't show on forum_list but does work on forum_view. No client side js errors that I could spot either.

BTW, you should consider adding the MOTM winning month as a dynamic title to your bd widgets block.

Yes it IS a shame this doesn't work with @sonnb Media gallery.. We've been waiting for one for a very long time, but nothing as of yet.
Put it this way, I would gladly pay over the odds for this, if it could work with Xengallery....

Is it possible for users to vote for an image rather than users upload their own?
Reasons being, we currently have it so members upload pics and then other members, if they like them - will vote for them.
Our members won't be keen on adding images themselves to a pic of the month, so am wondering if it can be used for members to vote instead on pics already uploaded?

Anyway, besides this, I would pay a lot more than 15 USD for this to work with XG. :)

Okay so now I'm running the latest. New album has been created for next comp, but the old comp hasn't closed and voting hasn't started. I have only one cron available now, is that correct?

Well we are open to having the port to XenGallery funded, don't hesitate to contact is in private and make a proposition.

Not sure what you mean, you are totally allowed to upload the images and then have your users vote.

What were your settings at the install time ?
Did you get any error in your server error log ?

That's it, I don't mean a user upload an image to enter a competition, I mean a user upload an image to the gallery as per norm, and then someone be able to click a "I vote for this pic for PoTM" if that makes sense?

It infers that MOTM would always start and end at the same date every month right ?

Would you restrict vote to image posted before the contest start date ?

I currently do it manually and that can be manic!
It's a case of we have pic of the month, based on members' uploads....
So someone spots an image and thinks - yeah this cuts it so I am going to vote for PoTM - they tag me or submit it on the thread and I then have to add it to a list.
I've been searching and searching and so far yours is what comes close to what we need.

If it's too much then yeah I can fully understand that, however, if you're open for using this as a basis for custom development I am happy to pay my way of course..

Like for instance Augusts' ran from the 1st until midnight lastnight / this morning, then this morning I started PoTM for September.
I adjust the threads and announce the winner(s) when I need to.
GMT here so been a long day will be off soon myself. :D
 
Oh oh, think I hit a bit of a bug with the latest release. This is on XF 1.5 (upgraded MOTM to the latest before my new Sept month start date). It created a new album at 8pm Aug 31st (it did that on the old version too in August although my server time is accurate) not a big deal. Anyway, now it created a second album for the same month. I quickly soft deleted the thread and album.

The only thing that happened is that I slightly altered the autogenerated thread message for media submissions today before duplicate album was created. I also have m/y format set to m/Y instead of n/Y which was the default (btw, still won't show me the month name, shows month number).

I also see that your cron job is due to run tomorrow at same time (8:01pm).

So is this going to happen again and what about my original Sept album?
