XFMG mass upload from server file system

I got bored last night and started messing around with this a bit. So, does everyone want this for super admin only? Right now I have it set for Super Admins and Admins. Not sure if it would be a good idea for everyone to be able to do this. And how would you let them upload to the FTP first?


Keep in mind this is on my local setup. And I am pulling from my pictures on my computer.
What the batch looks like:


This should work on a dedi server and even on shared hosting. As long as they are both setup right.

And how would you let them upload to the FTP first?

For a lot of us admins, we are the only ones who need FTP. In my case, I just want to import batches from an outdated gallery system we no longer use.

Although I've found Media Gallery itself has so many shortcomings and bugs that, years after buying the license, we still can't take it public. I'm almost at the point of asking to remove it from my license so I don't have to pay for renewing it anymore.

Have you tried @Bob 's Showcase addon? Maybe that would do the trick for you. I don't remember if it has a batch type uploader in it.
