As designed XF2: User keeps receiving mails even when UCP is set to 'no'

Hi there,

A user kept saying the was receiving e-mails even though he had set the settings in the user control panel to not receive e-mails. The e-mails only stopped when he clicked "stop receiving e-mails from this topic" and then selected the second option.

The attachment shows that the users has set both mail options top "no"
.

I'm not really sure if this is a bug or not, but to me it seems a bit strange that you have to go to two places to stop the mails

“Receive site mailings” is what opts in to receiving emails sent using the “Email users” function and is unrelated to other emails the site sends, such as conversation emails, watched content emails etc.

If the user no longer wants to receive the watched content emails then they can cancel all of those using the tools under “Watched threads” (and other similar pages) or using the unsubscribe link in one of the received emails.
