Lack of interest XF2 AutoCompletion menu: Detect bottom of the page

I have a use case where the editor is always at the bottom of the page and the menu with suggestions will either cause page overflow or will simply be hidden. I've looked into manually overwriting the XenForo prototypes to change the behavior, but with the last version number it broke this behavior (which is to be expected when you're clumsily hacking underlying code).

Can you please add some sort of flag to put the autocompletion rectangle above the point of insertion?
