XF 2.0 XF2 add new smilie from sprite - no image visible in smilie editor like in XF1?!

In XF1 when you add a smilie from a sprite you get a visual representation in the upper right corner so you can see when you've got the dimensions/positions right for the smilie you want to add.

I'm trying to add one in XF2 and cannot see what I'm adding - there doesn't appear to be a visual indicator at all - or am I missing something?

That feature has been removed in XF2.

Any idea why - it doesn't make sense? And any tips for getting the dimensions of the individual smilies from your sprite sheet now in XF2?

Is this related to your questions yesterday about having to replace the XF zip file smilie sprite before uploading the files? Or is it unrelated and you're just adding totally new smilies?

Unrelated - just looking to add some smilies from a sprite and was surprised to see that you can no longer get a visual clue from the smilie editor as to whereabouts on the sheet you are defining.

In XF1 it's incredibly handy to be able to twiddle the numbers and see your smilie move into focus; just wondering how people get the dimensions/numbers now in XF2? It can't be as laborious as guessing, saving, checking in the list, and re-editing until you get it right?
