XF does not work on php 5.4?

I moved my forum over to another host using cpanel on php 5.4
and all kinds of compile things were going on...so xf does not work on 5.4?
the host reverted php back to 5.3, now all i get is db errors with no exact
reason, and the db info/user appear to be all correct....

XenForo works just fine with php 5.4. All kinds of compile things and db errors doesn't tell us much, though.

I was not trying to get into the deep of it; I just wanted to verify that xf did infact work with php 5.4.

Also works on 5.5 for that matter.
