Hello, I am curious if running XenForo 1.5 versions in 2025 has any major issues such as security etc.

XF 1.5 has been EOL for nearly 6 years, and we do not actively monitor it for bugs or security issues.

I’m not aware of which, if any, security issues it may present, but its continued use is unsupported in any capacity.

I am planning on using one, what are the possible security concerns that it may form? The forum seem to be working all fine in any version between 1.5.16/1.5.20

We don’t monitor it for security issues in any capacity, so we’re not able to say what the possibilities are. At the time of the final 1.5.x release, we were not aware of any vulnerabilities, but that was 6 years ago and it has not been and will not be assessed since.
