A WordPress widget included with the plugin shows the community statistics. When the option for the gallery is turned on then the gallery statistics will show. This is not (yet) a widget to show the gallery images, which is on the drawing board for a future version. A roadmap is available and a suggestion forum. Feel free to make suggestions.

You can follow new screenshots and information about development in the December thread. Of course, in 8.5 hours there will be a January thread

I just bought and installed this [Version 3.0.1.03] had a play and it seems fine. But just seen a warning in the WP plugin admin, it says this is Beta and not to be installed on a live site! Is it Beta? When downloading it just gives the version numbers, no mention that it's Beta. I have deactivated it on my sites. What do you suggest I do.. delete it and download an earlier version (which version isn't in Beta) or wait till you release a finished version? Thanks

@JamesBrown it may have the BETA tag but it works perfectly in my experience.

There used to be a bug where avatars wouldn't sync between the two systems which I didn't like when I first started using it but that got fixed recently.

That's the setup I have as well, and it's working quite well.

Having a play, I notice that the thread comments made in xF get parsed over in wp nicely, along with avatar, but quotes don't. Is there a setting I've missed or is that where we are at the mo?

The message should state "alpha" but it is an important warning to test everything on a local dev environment first. The 3.x release is not feature complete. People are helping identify bugs - and so they are getting squashed as fast as possible. Some have asked for me to release with the current features but RLL and I decided to try to clean things up first. If we cannot soon then it'll go into beta with the features.
Maybe this is in the function embed_BBCode section of the Comments file. The method starts around line 390.

Thanks to be honest, I had a simple install, 30,000 xF members and just the 1 admin on the wordpress. I was worried that it might mess with my xF database. I've done a fair bit of testing, posts get to the forums, and comment made on the forums get back to wordpress, for me that's heaven right there. The rest of the stuff, widgets ect, yes they might be nice later but right now its doing the job I wanted admirably Many Thanks

Can Xenword work with two separate wordpress installations while both referencing a single xf database. (With two xenword Licences)

Considering purchasing this addon however I have two questions:
1. Is this integrated with the Showcase system? If users post images to the showcase system will I be able to display them as a gallery on for example my index WP page?
2. Same question as above but for Resources (resource manager)

There isn't this type of integration. There is a widget but I haven't spent much time with it. Of course, you can put this in the suggestions forum.
Resources are a bit trickier. The work for integration started over a year ago but hasn't progressed as other issues were prioritized.
