Gotta be honest. This looks like it would work if you are using a forum as a CMS, but for your regular users, which generate most content on regular forums.... what are they going to see, do, think about it? They won't care. They just post up regular ol' threads.
If there is a regular large forum running this please let us know, I'd like to see it on a live real site.
Hey ekool, thanks for taking the time to look — but I think there might
be a misunderstanding about what the addon actually does. Let me clarify.
SEO Pack isn't a UI feature for end-users. The vast majority of what it
ships does its work invisibly, on every page render, with zero input
from anyone — including the admin after the initial setup. Regular users
posting "regular ol' threads" is exactly the use case it's built for.
Here's what runs automatically on every thread your members post,
without them seeing or doing anything:
- 8 JSON-LD schema types emitted into <head> — Organization, WebSite +
SearchAction, BreadcrumbList, CollectionPage (forum + category),
DiscussionForumPosting (with full comment[] array, image extraction,
interaction stats), ProfilePage, FAQPage. These are what get your
threads into Google's rich-result panels — discussion forum
thumbnails, "people also ask" boxes, sitelinks search.
- Full OpenGraph article metadata on every thread —
articleublished_time, article:modified_time, article:author,
article:section, article:tag[]. Twitter Cards too. So when anyone
shares a thread on Facebook, X, LinkedIn, or Discord, it shows a
real preview card instead of a bare URL.
- IndexNow auto-ping — every new visible thread triggers an instant
Bing/Yandex crawl ping. No waiting for the next sitemap cycle.
- Sitemap enhancement — lastmod (from last-post date) + priority
(log-scaled from reply/view counts) on every thread. Search engines
prioritise crawling your active threads.
- 4 Core Web Vitals features — deferred Google Analytics, CLS guard
CSS, preconnect hints, conditional lightbox JS strip. Your LCP, INP,
and CLS scores measurably improve. None of your users see this.
They just notice the forum loads faster.
- Quality Gate — auto-noindex for thin/low-engagement threads based on
configurable thresholds (replies, views, word count, age). Stops
zero-content threads from diluting your domain authority.
- Coexistence guards — strips duplicate JSON-LD, deduplicates robots
meta tags, removes empty H1s. Theme-agnostic. Runs on every page.
The two user-facing UI bits (SERP preview + word counter above the
editor) are probably 3% of what the addon ships. They're optional — you
can turn them off in admin and the rest still works.
The "is there a real large forum running it" question is fair for any
day-1 release. SEO Pack is being launched today (May 1, 2026). The
codebase is the same one that's been in production on xenvibe.com
since launch, so I can speak to that, but obviously that's a small site.
The launch coupon SEOLAUNCH5 is there so the first 5 buyers can put it
on their real forums and report back — that's how every addon at v1.0
gets its first real-world data.
Happy to answer any specific question about a feature or how it'll
behave on a particular forum setup.
