xenForo's future?

Hey guys,

It's been a while since I've posted here. Glad to see xenForo making such excellent progress. I'm an over the road trucker so pardon me please if my concerns have been addressed elsewhere. I'm playing catch up so please, bare with me.

I am concerned. I've been reading that xenForo is currently being sued by Internet Brands over the xenForo coding? Now I haven't had the opportunity to purchase a license yet so I can't look for myself but I've been talking to some people and the code doesn't seem to be ripped. I believe that claim to be false by Internet Brands. Breach of Contract, I don't know.

Not my worry though. If I purchase a license (which I was going to do prior to hearing about this situation), and xenForo loses in court or Internet Brands wins a temporary injunction, what happens to the subscribers who purchased xenForo? What happens to support, security updates, and the such? I'm not going to purchase a license until this situation is resolved but I am curious. This is a great piece of software.

Obviously doing a forum search with Internet Brands (search only titles) is a good idea.
