Is it possible to get my forum to use the header/footer from my WordPress theme?

It's fairly simple Kev. I've done it at http://www.wpmods.com/forums/

Best thing to do would be to view source for your wordpress website home page and then copy of the necessary code to your page, container, header and navigation templates. Classes that are used can be copied over to extra.css

My header includes custom WordPress menus (two of them) see: http://www.webmaxed.com
The top menu, which is a widget (aMember), is especially important because its how members get to their account page (aMember) and logout. Any way to include these?

I'm not sure of that. The buttons would be easy to add but not the logged in information.
