I can't "Like" this enough! Between easy recording, and both parties being able to be hands on the keyboard/mouse at the same time, I think it actually makes it far better for learning than being local.

I second this. I do computer training and support for my landlord and the professional software packages he uses. He’s in his 70’s and his office is 30ft away from mine, yet we haven’t sat in front of a computer together for nearly 2 years now. It’s a million times easier and more efficient for both parties for me to Teamviewer from my office even though we’re in the same building.
