How do you make it so a specific forum in the display node tree is in private (already is) and when someone posts a thread in that forum, they can only see their own threads.

So this works, it's all good.. but one issue.
How do I make it so users can see stickied threads? I want this thread to be shown and people can view it.

I believe you'd need custom development for that. You could use a notice specific to that forum I suppose linking to whatever content you want them to be able to read.
