XenForo License Usage

I own the XenForo license for one website I manage, but not for another.

Is there any concerns or detrimental effects if I use my license for Website A when testing upgrades and such for a dev environment Website B when it's owner isn't immediately available to download it for me?

For productions sites, the license files should only be uploaded to the URL defined against the license.

For test installations it's not as strict but you need to ensure you are only using the version and official add-ons on the test site, which the original license has access to.

You wouldn't for example be able to test 2.x for a site which is on;y eligible to run 1.5, or use the RM add-on, or branding removal if that license does not have it.

Ideally you would just use the original license files.
