Solution P P Paul B Sep 17, 2020 It's in the package should you want to use it for some reason. Just set the path in the SPs. Ideally though, create one unique for your site and use that.

I thought Google Search Console reported an error that I did not have one (I may be wrong) Also My webhost reports lots of errors missing for Apple Icons (in word press) But I do not use Word Press! Google knows the favicon I use. I checked it with their link: The favicon in the link is just an example https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=veganthingsworld.com But my super cool favicon doesn't show up in the serp – the place where things actually matter. The favicon Google uses to display my links makes my site look like some cheap-ass security risk. Upvote 0 Downvote
