XF 2.3 XenForo Enhanced Search 2.2.1 and v2.3

I have XenForo Enhanced Search 2.2.1 installed and recently upgraded to Xenforo 2.3. This addon is currently disabled. Is it safe to enable it?

Forum members are complaining the search has gotten worse!

It would require an update for 2.3 release. Should be fine. I haven't seen any issue after 2.3 update seems to work as well as 2.2.x.

2.3.0 is the version for both xf and es.

I was trying to find the updated plugin and now see that it is in my Account area. Just downloaded the new plugin.

Do I have to check the Overwrite existing files box?

shouldn't matter both are fine. usually it should appear on the admin screen on 2.3 if not up to date. it is checked just like xenforo itself by the backend if any updates are available.
