It will be since iv'e used named volumes which are mapped to the hosts file system, even if the containers are destroyed the volumes remain

Once you have this running, what method do you use to upload additional files (like XF updates, add-ons, etc)?

I got around the FTP issue, although for some reason it's not rewriting URLs; only the home page works and everything else is a 404 error.

Yea, turns out I accidentally removed RewriteEngine On from my .htaccess file. Oops!
