Xenforo 1 or 2 should i start with for a new forum?

Hello every one, i decide to make a new medical forum and i used xenforo 1.5 for personal use before and very loved it.
But know u see that xenforo 2 comes with many new features and developments.
So for a new forum what i have to chose?
Is xenforo 1 will stop developing and the future is for xenforo 2 ?

Unless there is something that you cannot live without that hasn't been ported, I would just use XF2; it's a better and more modern product that the original.

You can find pretty much all of the key essentials as well. Most of the really important add-ons have either already been ported or have an alternative by another developer.

if new forum start with XF2 if you run old ones on XF1 stay on it.
