Xenforo 1.2.4 not verifying email / accounts

It seems on my forums, Xenforo is not verifying emails right or not sending the right link. When you sign up it will send a link to your email but when you click it, it says your account still needs to be verified. What do I do?

You have your board URL incorrect.

Remove portal from the board URL.
