In the message.css template find

    .Responsive .message .messageInfo
    {
        margin-left: 0;
        padding: 0 10px;
    }

Change the 0 to 5px

Considering it's a 1.4 style, and we are well into 1.5, and it's in an unmaintained status, I'd venture to say - not very well.
