[XenConcept] Linked Accounts

[XenConcept] Linked Accounts [Paid] 2.5.0

No permission to buy ($40.00)
Has there been a fix for the display of the Link icon in UI.X themehouse styles yet?
I hav been trying to get it to display but it only works in the default theme.

A couple of questions:

1. Is there a way that a custom User Group could be assigned to a newly created Linked Account? I want to create a Character Account, and place all Linked Accounts into a newly created Character Group-- a heavily restricted group, and has a custom banner "Character" attached to the Linked Account Profile.

2. I see that Email Address is already optional. But what about the Password? If people are using the Linked Account strictly as "Posting As", then they'll never actually log into the forum with a Linked Account. Could there be an option to randomly generate a password, with an understanding that the account will never be used to physically log into the forum? I don't think it's a good idea to completely eliminate the password, because we don't want somebody linking onto an already existing Linked Account without the original account holder's permission.

3. There's a slight correction that needs to be made. If I try to View Sub Accounts on an Account that doesn't have any Sub Accounts, the message should read: "This member has no sub-accounts."

4. Would it be possible to restrict Sub Accounts to only be available in specified Nodes? (I'm not even sure if this is doable, but I'd figure I'd ask.)

Thank you for creating such an awesome extension!

I've been trying to set up the add-on, but no matter my settings, I keep getting this error message.

For reference, I have enabled permissions for admin users only, and I am trying to link 2 admin accounts together.

I'm running into the same issue, as well as a couple others. Did you get this figured out? I'm almost certain it's a bug and not a configuration issue.

For the moment, there's only one option in acp for doing so.

What are you waiting for? An option to block connection to sub-accounts?

Thanks.

Only via the usergroup permission or the user permission

Can you try configuring on the user's group and not on the group of the linked account?

Hello!
So one of my users is experiencing an issue where when she is logged into one of her other accounts from the selection, it throws her back into her primary account and posts as that account.
It was also kicking her out when she was using the date custom profile field. When she changed the date, and saved, it would save to her primary account instead of the account she was working on.
I moved her account to me, and logged in as her to bug test to see if I could recreate the issues, but it seems isolated to her account.

Is this an issue others are experiencing at all?

I noticed this too, and thought maybe I had forgotten to Login under my SubAcount and wrote the experience off. But now I'll do some deeper testing on my own to see if I can reproduce this too.
