As I am to understand it, this will extend to all XFMG images in general Galleries or User Galleries?

If so and such images are displayed in sidebar or page widgets (sliders, pages, recent) that those images will be marked too?

The reason I ask has to do with a past experience with a bad Invision NSFW plugin that worked fine in the galleries and plastered unblurred nudes on the home page...
 
Well I figured this out--a very well intended plugin but unfortunately does nothing for native XF galleries or albums. That's a deal breaker, and there is really NOTHING else out to manage a Xenforo site images this way.

Is there a plan to add galleries/albums in addition to the forum and other stuff? In today's climate it is a necessity that is unmet!
 
I need it more for the xenforo gallery than anything else.. hopefully plans to add this at some stage?
 
Hey @Ozzy47, I have a suggestion,


Account > NSFW Content blocking

Choose what type of content you would like to block on the forum site:
  1. Show NSFW content
  2. Blurred content can become revealed when you click the resource icon/resource attachments
  3. Hide NSFW content
Blur NSFW Attachment images: Yes / No

Blur adult Avatar (Profile picture): Yes / No

Only that option when people confirm that marked as NSFW and will become blurry self. Unless someone has to report that it was not marked as an NSFW filter and will give a warning or ban.

Also, including resource category and resource icon, resource attachments to the NSFW add-on, and user group view permission would be a great choice.

Anyway, I don't need AI to look up on my server because that would waste bandwidth.

There are several issues with this plug-in. While it works well with the AI screening on any form post, it fails miserably when using any sort of widget filmstrip to display images from forums. They appear as normal. It also does not work with albums or galleries. This is not the fault of Ozzy or Painbaker-- but the platform structure Of Xenforo.

I've been trying various iterations of this for over a year now--along with other add-ons that purported to provide an NSFW blur to XF images. The reality is that XF is not ready for prime time with NS stuff. This is due to the fragmented nature of various xenforo applications. XFMG is a different environment, somewhat of an afterthought that has never been fully integrated into the core platform. Similarly, widgets the display images are also hacked into the system and ignore any directives from the original image requiring their own distinct coding for GUI presentation.

Perhaps someday...

Thank you, I was about to repurchase a license for moving to 2.3 but this would've been a big shock to me and my users.

@Painbaker if this could be fixed that would be so helpful.

Please provide more details regarding how the content is hidden (manually by BB code or by automatic check), what type of content it is and what version of XF, and is it the standard XF newsfeed with no changes

Manual BBcode, XF 2.3.6

Only the original post shows the image in the feed, not when quoted or liked. If i place text between the tags it is hidden.

The image is shown under [ Potentially inappropriate content ] in the feed.

These 2 addons change the feed, but i disabled them to test

I'm using Sightengine which works. It's not great at differentiating between photos of naked people and art (e.g. Michelangelo or Botticelli)

I tried DeepAI but it doesn't work, at least not with the free tier.
 
It's working well but neither approval queue nor reject upload work with DMs.

It would be great if that was possible.
